Vodafone Pro 3 is the provider’s full fibre package bundle with extra features. It combines fast full fibre broadband (where your address can get it) with upgraded Wi-Fi kit, a Wi-Fi coverage promise, a 4G broadband backup dongle, and extra online security features.
If you want reliable Wi-Fi in more rooms and you want an extra connection option during an outage, Pro 3 is the package to look at.
In this guide
What Pro 3 includes at a glance
Pro 3 is centred on three things:
- Faster full fibre packages, including Full Fibre 500 and Full Fibre 910, plus multi-gig options in some areas
- A Wi-Fi 7 router and Wi-Fi 7 booster kit to improve Wi-Fi coverage
- Extras such as 4G broadband backup, a Wi-Fi coverage guarantee, and Secure Net Home
Availability
Vodafone Pro 3 is linked to full fibre connections. What you can order depends on the full fibre network that serves your property. In many areas, Vodafone uses the Openreach network for full fibre. In other areas, Vodafone also makes full fibre available through CityFibre and other partners.
Find Vodafone Broadband Deals in Your Area
This matters because:
- The top package you can order depends on what the network at your address can provide.
- Upload speeds can differ by network. On some networks, you may see upload speed the same as the download speed on certain packages. On Openreach full fibre, upload speeds are often much lower than download speeds on many packages.
Vodafone Pro 3 packages and speeds
Vodafone shows Pro 3 across a range of full fibre packages.
- Full Fibre 74 or Full Fibre 80
- Vodafone Full Fibre 150
- Vodafone Full Fibre 500
- Vodafone Full Fibre 910
- Multi-gig options up to 2.2Gbps in some areas
A quick way to choose:
- Full Fibre 150: good for typical households that stream in 4K and use video calls on multiple devices
- Full Fibre 500: a good choice for larger households, multi-device homes, and frequent cloud backups
- Full Fibre 910: ideal for heavy users, fast downloads, and homes with lots of simultaneous activity
- Multi-gig: best for people with 2.5GbE wired kit and newer Wi-Fi 7 devices, or for very busy homes that want extra capacity
Vodafone Pro 3 Pricing
Vodafone Pro 3 is available on plans including Full Fibre 74/150, Full Fibre 500, Full Fibre 910 and multi-gig options, with prices from £35 a month to £60 a month on a 24 month contract.

Ultra Hub 7 and Super WiFi 7 Booster
The biggest Pro 3 upgrade is the Wi-Fi kit. Vodafone broadband routers include:
- Ultra Hub 7 (Wi-Fi 7 router)
- Super WiFi 7 Booster (Wi-Fi extender)
Vodafone also states it can send up to two additional boosters at no extra cost if you need them, taking the total to three boosters.
Ultra Hub 7: what you should know
Vodafone Ultra Hub 7 is a dual-band Wi-Fi 7 router. It also includes:
- A 2.5Gbps ethernet connection for faster wired devices
- Additional ethernet ports for other wired kit
Wi-Fi 7 can deliver higher wireless speeds and better efficiency than older Wi-Fi standards, but your devices need Wi-Fi 7 to get the full benefit. If most of your kit uses Wi-Fi 5 or Wi-Fi 6, you can still see improvements in Wi-Fi management and efficiency, but your maximum device speed will still depend on the device.
Super WiFi 7 Booster: what it changes at home
A booster helps when the router’s Wi-Fi cannot reach every room reliably. You usually notice the benefit most in:
- Back bedrooms
- Loft rooms
- Kitchens at the far end of the property
- Home offices away from the router
A booster works best when you place it in a spot that still gets a strong signal from the router, rather than in the weakest area.
The Wi-Fi coverage guarantee
Vodafone’s Pro 3 package includes a Wi-Fi coverage guarantee with a clear target:
- Vodafone states it aims for at least 10Mbps Wi-Fi speed in each room.
How it works, in simple terms:
- Vodafone includes one Super WiFi 7 Booster as standard.
- If you still cannot reach the 10Mbps Wi-Fi target in each room, Vodafone can send extra boosters, up to the limit it sets for the package.
- If you still cannot reach the 10Mbps Wi-Fi target in each room after the final booster arrives and you set it up, Vodafone allows you to end the contract without early termination charges, as long as you do it within the time window Vodafone sets in its guarantee terms.
The guarantee relies on using Vodafone’s provided kit and following its setup guidance.
The 10Mbps figure is not a “fastest speed” promise. It focuses on basic usable Wi-Fi in every room, which can matter more than peak speed if you struggle with dead zones.
4G Broadband Back-up: what you get and when it helps
Pro 3 includes a 4G broadband backup dongle with a 100GB data allowance.
Vodafone describes it as a fallback connection that you plug into the Pro broadband router. It’s meant for situations where you have a total loss of service on your fixed broadband line.
A few practical points:
- This backup depends on Vodafone’s 4G signal quality in your home.
- It works best if the dongle sits in a position where it can pick up a decent mobile signal, which may not be next to the router in every home.
- Vodafone says that if you use up the data allowance, you can contact its WiFi Xperts and it may add extra data at no additional cost.
This feature is most useful if you work from home, rely on Wi-Fi calling, or have smart home devices you want to keep online during an outage.
WiFi Xperts: what Vodafone includes
Vodafone links Pro 3 with WiFi Xperts features, including:
- Monitoring for 90 days after installation
- Call prioritisation after that period, which can reduce waiting at busier times
If you like guided troubleshooting rather than working through router menus, this can be a real advantage.
Secure Net Home: security and parental controls included with Pro
Pro 3 includes Secure Net Home at no extra cost. Vodafone describes Secure Net Home as protection for up to 128 connected devices in the home, with tools that focus on:
- Online protection against malicious websites and common threats
- Advanced parental controls such as profiles, filters, time limits and schedules
Vodafone runs Secure Net Home through the Secure Net app and a web portal. Vodafone also links it with the Vodafone Broadband app for activation and account connection, depending on your setup.
A useful way to think about it:
- Use the Vodafone Broadband app for Wi-Fi and router controls.
- Use Secure Net for family rules and online safety features.
Landline: what is included
Vodafone shows a landline included with its broadband packages, including Pro 3. Vodafone lists line rental at £0, with calls charged separately unless you add a calls add-on.
If you do not use a landline, this part of the package may not change much for you. If you do use it, check call rates and add-on pricing before you order.
What Pro 3 is like day to day
Pro 3 can feel like two upgrades at once:
- Full fibre can improve consistency and reduce slowdowns compared with older copper-based broadband, especially at busy times.
- The Wi-Fi 7 router and booster kit can improve Wi-Fi coverage and reduce weak spots, which is often the main reason people pay extra for a premium bundle.
If your current issue is weak Wi-Fi in parts of your home, Pro 3’s Wi-Fi kit and the coverage guarantee can matter more than the difference between Full Fibre 500 and Full Fibre 910.
Who Vodafone Pro 3 is ideal for
Pro 3 is ideal for:
- Larger households with lots of devices online at the same time
- Home workers who want a backup connection during outages
- People who want better Wi-Fi coverage without buying third-party mesh kit
- Heavy users who download large games and updates regularly
- Homes with newer devices that can use Wi-Fi 7, or people who plan to upgrade devices soon
Who should think twice
Pro 3 may not be worth paying extra for if:
- You live in a small flat where a standard router already gives strong Wi-Fi in every room
- You mainly use wired ethernet for your key devices and you do not need wider Wi-Fi coverage
- You do not get a good Vodafone 4G signal indoors, which reduces the value of the backup dongle
- You prefer to use your own security and parental control tools rather than a provider’s security add-on
Vodafone Pro 3 pros and cons
Pros
- Wi-Fi 7 router plus booster included
- Wi-Fi coverage guarantee with a clear minimum target of 10Mbps Wi-Fi speed in each room
- 4G broadband backup dongle with 100GB data allowance
- Secure Net Home included for online protection and parental controls
- Faster full fibre packages available, including Full Fibre 910 and multi-gig in some areas
Cons
- Your available speeds and upload speeds depend on the network at your address
- Wi-Fi 7 benefits depend on device compatibility and home layout
- The 4G backup feature relies on Vodafone’s mobile signal quality indoors
- The Wi-Fi guarantee target focuses on a minimum per room, not top speed everywhere
Is Vodafone Pro 3 any good?
Vodafone Pro 3 looks best when you value the extras as much as the broadband speed.
If you already get good Wi-Fi coverage with your current setup, Pro 3 may feel like you are paying for features you will not use. If you struggle with dead zones, want a backup connection, and prefer a provider-managed Wi-Fi kit with a clear coverage promise, Pro 3 can be an excellent choice.

What to check before you order
Do these checks first, because they affect the real-world experience:
- Confirm which full fibre network serves your address and what speeds Vodafone offers there.
- Look at the upload speed shown for your chosen package, especially if you upload large files or stream live video.
- Think about your home layout and where the router will sit, because that drives Wi-Fi coverage.
- Check Vodafone 4G signal quality in your home if you want to rely on the backup dongle.
